Once you're on the calendar, we’ll tentatively plan your session around your due date, and then confirm once baby arrives.

When Should I Book My Newborn Photographer?

I typically photograph newborns between 5–14 days old, while they’re still sleepy, snuggly, and tiny in your arms.

But here’s the thing: this isn’t a rigid window.
If you’re recovering slowly, baby was in the NICU, or you simply need more time at home, I’ll meet you where you are. The most important thing is documenting the connection—not sticking to a strict timeline.

What’s the Best Age for Newborn Photos?

You can choose from two relaxed session types:

1. In-Home Lifestyle Sessions
Perfect if you want to stay cozy at home, where your story naturally unfolds. I’ll work with the natural light in your nursery, bedroom, or living room, and guide you through gentle posing and snuggly candids.

2. Studio Sessions (Located in Chambersburg, PA)
For those who want a calm, neutral space without needing to prep the house, the studio is a dream.
It’s fully stocked with:

• Wraps, swaddles, bows, bonnets, and simple props

• Cozy textures, soft light, and a peaceful setting

• Changing space and seating area for you to relax

• You don’t need to bring a thing but your baby. Really.

In-Home OR Studio—What’s Right for You?

Nope. You just need to be present.
There’s no pressure to perform, look perfect, or “have it all together.” Whether we’re in your home or in my studio, I’ll gently guide you through the entire session—with grace, calm, and lots of baby-led pauses.

do I need to be camera ready?

I sometimes have last-minute space, and I always believe there’s grace for your real timeline—not just the ideal one.
